We’ve put together some attractive leisure options you can book separately. These are private charters for the conference group only, so you will be in the best of company with new and old friends.

Pick from STANDARD and LUXURY trips on different days to suit your tastes and budgets. Note most tours have limited places so get in early and book now! All tours include either transfers or pick up from Crown Towers.

Note: coach trips to Margaret River and Pinnacles have late finishes (after 7pm). We will confirm start and finish times closer to the date.

Rottnest Island Grand Island Tour – Option 1 STANDARD

Including lunch and all transfers, this is the most comprehensive guided tour of the island allowing you to explore the stunning beauty of this A-Class natural reserve in air conditioned comfort, taking in the amazing fauna and flora of the island, stunning beaches, woodlands and incredible salt lakes – commencing with a unique historic train ride.

This 4 hour all-inclusive island tour takes in all of Rottnest’s must see locations featuring the Wadjemup Lighthouse, Henrietta Rocks, Oliver Hill Gun Fortification and Tunnels and the majestic look-out point at the rugged Cathedral Rocks and Cape Vlamingh.

Rottnest Island helicopter trip and lunch – Option 2 LUXURY

Experience the ultimate Lunch experience to Rottnest Island where you will get to walk, swim and explore Rottnest Island. The helicopter will pick you up from the Crown Hotel and then fly you across Perth city with stunning views of Elizabeth Quay, Kings Park and the Swan River en route to Rottnest Island. On arrival you will be able to stroll through the historical settlement, interact with the famous ‘Quokka’, the cute marsupial only found on Rottnest Island or enjoy a swim in the turquoise waters of some of the world’s finest beaches and pristine bays. Lunch is at Hotel Rottnest where you can take in the beautiful views of Thompsons Bay, before departing back to the Crown Hotel.

Margaret River sea plane wine tour – Option 3 LUXURY

Monday 6 November only single ticket pp AUD$850 (excl. GST)

We will fly you directly out of the Swan River to begin your scenic, low-level coastal flight to Margaret River. Overlooking the city scape to spanning over the captivating Western Australian coastline, you will have an exhilarating experience on the journey to Margaret River itself. Upon landing, board our private coach and we will introduce you to the wines that have made Margaret River stand out as Australia’s most exciting premium wine region.

Head to the river and try local produce while under a canopy of native trees. Toast with sparkling-wine on the superb coastline before heading to a couple of superb boutique wineries to enjoy guided tastings of award winning wines. You will also be treated to a delicious winery lunch.

Upon completion of a 5 hour Margaret River experience, you will once again board our luxury seaplane and take part in the exploration of amazing views and more coastal scenery as you make your way back to Perth city and finish your day by touching down in the Swan River in the afternoon.

Margaret River helicopter wine tour – Option 4 LUXURY

Monday 6 November single ticket pp AUD$1750 (excl. GST)

Enjoy three wineries in this amazing helicopter trip to the famous Margaret River region. Enjoy the scenic views of Perth’s gorgeous surrounds, including the city skyline, Swan River, the Indian Ocean’s spectacular coastline, the picturesque Darling Escarpment, world-famous Rottnest Island, and further south, the turquoise water of Geographe Bay.

Upon arrival at your first winery, you will be greeted by the staff for a private wine tour and tasting. You will then depart on your private helicopter passing over the many wineries and vineyards before arriving at your lunch destination, Aravina Estate. On arrival you will be greeted by the friendly staff and taken on a tour of the breathtaking property, including a tour of their private vintage car collection. You will then enjoy a uniquely prepared three course meal, accompanied by wines of your choice. After lunch, you will board your private helicopter to a third location of choice for afternoon drinks before your low level scenic flight back up to Perth. WHAT A DAY!

Pinnacles Desert, Koalas and 4WD adventure tour – Option 5 STANDARD

After stopping at Caversham Wildlife Park in the Swan Valley to view koalas and hand feed kangaroos, we travel to the lobster fishing town of Cervantes for lunch. We stop at the Lobster Shack for an informative talk about the lobster industry, followed by a self-guided tour through the purpose built factory. We then stop for a fish and chip lunch here. Then it’s onwards to the mystical Pinnacles Desert for an easy paced walk through the fascinating landscape where you will be in awe at the sheer size and number of these spires. Afterwards enjoy a thrilling (optional!) experience of sand boarding and 4-wheel driving over the vast sand dunes of Lancelin. Wildflower viewing stops are made in season.

Margaret River coach wine tour – Option 6 STANDARD

Monday 6 November only single ticket pp AUD$250 (excl. GST)

We travel south from Perth driving through farmland with grazing cattle and passing by coastal towns. Arriving at Busselton, known as the gateway to the Margaret River Region we stop for morning tea (own expense) at the iconic Busselton Jetty, the longest timber jetty in the southern hemisphere. Driving into the heart of the region we head to one of Margaret River’s oldest breweries for a gourmet platter lunch of local produce, with complimentary beer and cider tastings.

Following lunch we continue south through the forest to a Margaret River region winery to taste some of their best wines, whilst gaining some industry insight on wine production with the opportunity to purchase. Continuing south, through the Boranup Forest of enormous Karri Trees we reach the most fascinating part of the region Augusta. Here at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, marvel at the dividing point between the Southern and Indian Oceans, a rare phenomenon to view the meetings of the two Oceans. We drive through Margaret River town on return to Perth.
